Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University

Graduated from Tezhip and Hat Department of Fine Arts Faculty in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, did his masters degree in same university with thesis topic of “Comparison of Classical, Baroque, Rococo and Ampere Mural Styles” and his doctorate with the thesis topic of “Gatch plastering in 18^th 19^th century”. Üçer has been teaching “mural” in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University for the last 20 years. He is one of the artist who continues this art through master-disciple relation. His father, painter Hamit Üçer, passed on to his son his 52 years of experience in restoration of Topkapı Palace murals.

Üçer contributed in restorations and designs of Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sofia Museum, Suleymaniye Mosque etc. He represented Turkey in Tezhip, Hat and Murals category with many exhibitions in many countries, with his artist and academician wife Münevver Üçer.
